Our CEO, Nora Fraser, represented Equi Consultancy Partners at the 2025 Asia Pacific Cities Summit and Mayors' Forum (APCS) in Dubai this October. The summit brought together mayors, city leaders, policymakers, business executives, innovators, young professionals, leading academics, and industry specialists from more than 321 cities across the Asia Pacific region.
For the first time, the Brisbane City Council programme was held in the Middle East. With a legacy of nearly 30 years, the event has welcomed over 600 cities and 15,000 delegates. APCS provides a unique platform for leaders to share ideas, address common challenges, and showcase the capabilities of cities to a global audience.
The summit took place at Expo City Dubai under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai. It featured plenary sessions, workshops, field trips, and opportunities to connect directly with decision-makers and innovators from across the region.
Nora Fraser's participation in the summit reflects Equi Consultancy Partners' commitment to engaging with global leaders on issues of equity, inclusion and sustainable urban development. The summit provided a valuable opportunity to explore how cities across the Asia Pacific region are embedding inclusion into urban planning, governance and community development.
We look forward to continuing to engage with global forums that advance equity and inclusion at the city, national and regional level.
